Casa Cerveza is a happy place where great food, cold drinks, and friendly faces come together. Located in the heart of Stellenbosch, we’re all about creating a relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. Whether you’re joining us for the Thursday beer run or a casual meal with friends, Casa is a place to slow down, connect, and enjoy the moment.
Casa Cerveza was born from a rugby tour, a single Spanish word, and a big idea. In 2018, founder Chris Norton was traveling through Argentina when the name first came to him. The only Spanish word he really knew was “cerveza”, beer. Simple, perfect, and full of possibility.
Back in Stellenbosch, Chris was running a bike shop in the same spot Casa now calls home. Wanting to create something new – a space for connection, good food, and cold drinks – he moved the bike shop across the road and transformed the old space into Casa Cerveza.
Today, Casa is exactly what he imagined: a relaxed, welcoming place where good times are always on tap.
